Indications: Any condition in which dry skin is a feature such as dry chronic eczema, ichthyoids (hereditary dry skin), senile prorates (itching that may be acquired in old age). b*INSTRUCTIONS*b Directions: For topical administration. It is important to follow these instructions carefully. Hydromel emollient should always be either added to water or applied to wet skin. For use in the bath - Adults, children and the elderly: Add 1-3 capfuls to an 8 inch bath of water. Soak for 10-15 minutes. Infants: Add 1/2 capfuls to a small bath of water. For use in the shower - Pour a small quantity onto a wet sponge or flannel and rub onto wet skin. Rinse and pat dry. b*INGREDIENTS*b Other constitunts: C12-C14 Alcohol with 3 molecules of Ethylene Oxide, Polyol Fatty Acid Ester, Iso-octyl Stearate. b*ACTIVE INGREDIENTS*b Active constitunts: Light Liquid Praffin BP 37.8%, Isopropyl Myristate BP 13.0%. b*WARNINGS*b Warnings and precautions: Patients should not use hydromel emollient if they have previously experienced an allergic reaction such as rash, itching or irritation to any of the constituents. Contact with the eyes should be avoided. In the event of accidental contact, washing with copious amounts of water should suffice. Keep away from eyes. Take care to avoid slipping in the bath or shower. If the conditions worsens, or if irritation, tech or rich occurs, stop treatment and consult your doctor or pharmacist. Any other undesirable effects should be reported to your doctor or pharmacist. In the event of acid natal ingestion, adverse effect are unlikely to occur.
